Camping anytime of the year, made even better with rainbow sprinkles!
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- ¾ cup graham cracker crumbs (or one cello-wrapped package)
- ⅔ cup butter, softened
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup marshmallow cream
- 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- rainbow sprinkles
Method
- Preheat oven to 325º.
- In mixer bowl, blend flour, cracker crumbs, butter, sugar, brown sugar, and salt until crumbly. Or in a food processor, crumble the graham crackers, add the flour, sugars, salt, and process to mix, then add the butter and process until crumbly.
- Press into greased 9” square pan. (I usually double the recipe and make it in a 9x13 inch pan.)
- Bake 15 minutes. (If doubling the recipe, you may have to adjust the cooking time a tad longer, to allow for the increased volume.)
- Spread marshmallow cream over base; sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Bake 5 minutes longer.
- Add the sprinkles, while the chocolate chips are still soft from the oven.
- Cool. Cut into squares.
